No. The published starting prices are the same in Hialeah as in Naples. What changes the final number is the door, not the ZIP code. A 1960s single on a slab in St. Petersburg is simply a smaller job than a 16 foot impact-rated double in Weston.

They are the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, the HVHZ, under the Florida Building Code. A replacement door there needs a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance rather than a Florida Product Approval, and the accepted route for an unrated door is a rated door rather than a retrofit bracing kit. Repairs cost the same as anywhere else; the rating rule only bites when the door is replaced.
